Sokołów a patron of the 2018 Culinary Champions Rally

Crowds of guests, the best chefs, gourmet cuisine and a fierce rivalry – the 7th edition of Culinary Champions Rally, organized by Haston City Hotel along with the Polish Prestige Hotels Food Commission and supported by the Chefs’ Club, has ended. The Sokołów Group was the main partner of the event.

On 26 October 2018, the Wroclaw Haston City Hotel became a venue for the 7th edition of the Culinary Champions Rally contest, with Sokołów Group as the main partner. 12 chefs along with their assistants have passed through the qualification round and entered the main contest. The organizers have prepared two competitions for them. The first one, which was an agility test, involved preparation of 10 beef roulades in the shortest time. In the second competition, the participants had to prepare an appetizer and a main dish using Sokołów Uczta Qulinarna beef. Cooks had to use rump cut which is ideal for steaks but is also perfect as a roast. The second component with which the chefs worked, was part of the beef shank called cuvette.

The contenders were judged by a panel of judges composed of Jerzy Pasikowski, Robert Sowa, Martin Building, Giancarlo Russo, Bober, Theofilis Vafidis, Walczyk, Dariusz Struciński and Michael Chrapowicz. The leading juror was Karol Okrasa.

The culmination of the day was a gala combined with the announcement of the results of the competition and an awards ceremony.
