Sokołów for children and parents. Exceptional farewell to summer

In an event unique in the history, bloggers and their children were invited to participate in culinary workshops in the Wola Suchożebrska Manor. In a casual atmosphere of a garden party – ideal for such a group of guests, the participants have cooked together and gained information on the diet for children. The special guest was Daria Ładocha - an expert in the field of children's nutrition, presenter in the Kuchnia+ TV channel's “Ugotuj Mi Mamo” (Cook for me, Mom) show.

The Sokołów cares about the development of culinary arts following the latest trends, and its experts pay considerable attention to groups with special dietary needs. The theme for the workshops closing the summer season was a balanced and healthy diet for kids.

The workshop was attended by bloggers and the winners of the contest for a children’s picnic dish. The meeting took place in a picturesque park surrounding the Manor in Wola Suchożebrska. At the beginning of the workshop, guests were invited for a short visit to the garden, where vegetables, fruits, and herbs are grown. Children could collect the peppers, tomatoes, beans, mint, and other ingredients that were later used in preparation of meal.

The substantive part of the workshop was led by Daria Ładocha – a culinary trainer and a specialist on children’s diet. Adult participants of the event joined her in learning the truths and myths about kids’ nutrition, and searched for the answer about how to feed sick children and what are the best energy sources for the littlest ones. Daria Ładocha has also told the participants about the importance of encouraging children to explore new tastes and the negative effects of combining food with emotions. The meeting was also a perfect opportunity for parents to exchange experiences.

One of the features of the workshop for children were culinary riddles led by Agnieszka Piskała — a dietician and Sokołów nutrition expert.

Both adults and children participated in shared cooking session, supported by Daria Ładocha and Sokołów chef Dominik Moskalenko. The workshop menu featured: White beans paste with nuts and dried tomatoes paste (served with Sokołów Naturrinio pate), salad with Sokołów meat chips, avocado and pomegranate, pepper cream soup with plums and beef, and beef sirloin with vegetables and cashew nuts. After the meal it was time for relaxation and outdoor activities, as well as talks with experts.
