Products from the new “Z Gruntu Dobre” line now on sale

Sokołów S.A. expands its product range by introducing an innovative line of products named “Z Gruntu Dobre” (Naturally Good). New products contain only vegetables, plant-based ingredients (cereals, seeds, nuts), and natural spices. It’s a proposition for those who want to enrich their diets with plant-based products in a simple and convenient way.

The new, meat-free product line is the company's answer to the changing dietary trends including flexitarianism, which is currently gaining popularity. 

Consumer choices and consumer satisfaction set the directions for our company’s growth. We are watching carefully the Polish lifestyle and are responding actively to the emerging needs. We have noticed how many people want to enrich their diet by introducing a wider variety of products. This became the impulse for creation of this product line. This, in turn, has allowed us to see the needs of an entirely new consumer group, one for which we used to have nothing to offer — the people following a meat-free diet – says Bogusław Miszczuk, Sokołów S.A. CEO. 

“Z Gruntu Dobre” is a wide range of products and tastes: White beans paste, courgette paste with dried tomatoes, vegetable paste with chickpeas, vegetable pate, and lentil pate with cranberries. The products contain no protein isolates or concentrates (eg. soy, peas, egg), and no additives. The “Z Gruntu Dobre” product line is created following the highest quality and safety standards. They are products with the so called “clean label”, meaning that they contain only natural ingredients. 

Products from Sokołów’s new, meat-free product line are characterised by a very good nutritional value and high protein content, making them an excellent component of well-balanced, everyday diet – says Krzysztof Kawecki, chief of the Sokołów S.A. Innovations Team. – We also wanted to create something that could be used universally in the kitchen. In many modern families, there are people with different dietary needs — eg. those eating meat and those following the meat-free diet. Our offer allows for a harmonious composition of the menu for each family member.

The concept and tastes of the products have been created at the Sokołów S.A. Product Development Centre. While working on new flavours, Sokołów asked culinary bloggers to assess the new tastes. – Bloggers are regular guests at the Sokołów Academy of Taste culinary workshops. While working on a new product line, we have invited them to participate in culinary workshops with a leading theme of dietary habits and meat-free diets – says Aleksandra Chalimoniuk, Company Director, PR and Communications. – Their opinions proved invaluable in the final phase of creating our first meat-free product line “Z Gruntu Dobre”. 

The “Z Gruntu Dobre” products can be purchased in the company's own Meat Delis, with other retail chains planned for the future. Due to the fact that these are fresh products, they will be available from refrigerators.

The “Z Gruntu Dobre” product line will be gradually expanded with further tastes.
