L’Art de la cuisine Martell 2016

Sokołów S.A. supports the development of professional culinary arts.  The company was a strategic partner of the 14th Edition of L'Art de la Cuisine Martell contest, during which chefs representing the best restaurants in Poland competed against each other.

Sokołów S.A. has prepared prizes for the winners, as well as organized a workshop on the topic of Polish beef. The culinary struggle was attended by 16 double teams judged by a jury under Paweł Oszczyk.

This year, for the first time in the history of the competition, also the audience got a chance to vote for best presentation of a dish. The contest winners were awarded by Sokołów S.A. with invitations to cooking workshops, products and vouchers for the purchase of high-quality Sokołów beef.

These year’s contest winners were:
1st place – Mateusz Bogdański, Artur Kuchnia (Hotel Heron);
2nd place – Tomasz Zdrenka, Michał Kowalski (Enjoy Restaurant);
3rd place – Krzysztof Bielawski, Patryk Głowacki (Szeroka Restaurant);
The Connoisseur Jury Award – Diana Olechnowicz, Magda Wacek (Signature Restaurant);
Audience Award — Dawid Zagrzywiec, Piotr Gipsiak, (Courtyard Marriott Warsaw Airport).

This year's edition of the competition was accompanied by culinary workshops led by the Sokołów chef — Dominik Moskalenko. Three meetings on the qualities of the Polish beef were held. Their participants gained interesting information, including on the origin of the Sokołów Qulinary Feast beef, its curing, and practical advice on its preparation. The workshops were very popular both with the guests, and the media.
