Diet Trends and New Vegetable Product Line at the Sokołów culinary workshops
“Z Gruntu Dobre” is a line of vegetable products, constituting a whole new product category for the Sokołów S.A. company. For the final stage of the creation of the line, Sokołów has invited influential culinary bloggers. During the Sokołów workshops, the bloggers had a chance to judge the taste of products and learn how to use them in composing the daily menu. The workshops were also an opportunity to discuss the changing diet trends and how the “Z Gruntu Dobre” product line strives to address those changes. The special guest was Monika Mrozowska — an actress, a culinary writer, and a vegetarian. The “Z Gruntu Dobre” product will be available from September.
The Sokołów is committed to the goal of promoting a healthy lifestyle through popularisation of culinary art which follows the latest dietary trends. – The cooperation with bloggers is an important element of the Sokołów activities – says Aleksandra Chalimoniuk, Sokołów S.A. Company Director, PR and Communications. – They are regular guests at our workshops which are devoted to health and balanced diet with a positive influence on the quality of our lives. We appreciate their dedication, skills, and great expertise – hence our idea to invite them to be the judges of our new product line, even before its introduction to the market.
The invited bloggers got the chance to test all Sokołów’s vegetable products and judge the names and packaging designs. “Z Gruntu Dobre” is a proposition for people following a vegetable diet, but also for all those who want to enhance their everyday menus in a simple and convenient way — says Aleksandra Chalimoniuk. – That is why we have invited people with diverse dietary needs to participate in our workshops. There were the meat-eaters, as well as those who have limited their meat intake. Our guests’ opinions have been invaluable in the final phase of creating the Sokołów “Z Gruntu Dobre” product line.
The new meat-free product line is an answer to the changing dietary trends. The new changes happening in this field were introduced by Agnieszka Piskała – dietician and nutrition expert, with a special attention devoted to flexitarianism.
Monika Morozowska talked about how to compose everyday diet in a family with diverse dietary choices. She has also reminded about how important it is to carefully compose the menu, allowing not just the preservation of a balanced composition of the meals, but also discovering of new tastes and a new pleasure of eating. The workshop’s guests had the chance to perform Tibetan rituals with Monika. This set of simple exercises strengthens the condition of the body, boosting positive energy and providing burst of vitality.
The practical part is an essential element of all Sokołów workshops. This time it was led by Monika Morozowska and Dominik Moskalenko — the Sokołów chef. Products from the new Sokołów product line were used to create the dishes. The workshop participants have prepared borscht witch coconut milk and chapati bread following one of Monika Morozowska’s recipes, as well as two recipes by Dominik Moskalenko: Pierogi with a vegetable pate from the new “Z Gruntu Dobre” product line, and the “buber” dessert. The workshop ended with a shared meal, which was also an opportunity to talk with the Sokołów experts.
