The best three – awards for Sokołów products

Three Sokołów products were awarded during the anniversary edition of the “Best Quality Product in the Meat Industry” competition. They are: raw smoked bacon, the Sopot sirloin and the Nature smoked loin.

49 companies participated in the Autumn edition of the competition. The number of meat products submitted for evaluation reached a record 178. This made the fact that the winners included three Sokołów products even more gratifying. The raw smoked bacon, the Sopot sirloin and the Nature smoked loin are well known and valued by the consumers. A careful selection of raw materials and care for production safety allows maintaining the highest quality of the products. This is noticed not only by customers but also by industry experts, and the awards are the best proof of this fact.

The “Best Quality Product in the Meat Industry” contest was organised by the Agri-Food Industry Biotechnology Institute for the 50th time. Since the 25th edition, the meat products are evaluated twice a year. The contest is divided into two stages. During the first stage, the teams of experts perform a sensory assessment. The second stage involves a chemical examination aimed at evaluating the compliance with quality standards and current regulations concerning product composition. The awarded products may be labelled with a Best Quality Product mark, which is widely recognised by consumers.
