2nd culinary workshop for people with diabetes

On Saturday, 4 July 2015, as part of the Menu for a Diabetic Patient campaign, another culinary workshop for people with diabetes took place.

During the Konin Days, David Gaboriaud has conducted two workshops for diabetic patients, gathering over 60 participants for shared cooking, and many spectators who could learn more (and taste!) about our diabetic menu propositions.

David has prepared, among others, Polish Qulinary Feast — Beef from Sokołów. On top of that, Beata Stepanow, President of the Association of Education on Diabetes was speaking about a proper diabetic diet, what to eat, and what to avoid to prevent the disease.

The activity was part of the Prevention Town that was set up under the patronage of the Mayor of the city of Konin. This the project was co-financed by the Ministry of Health.
Sokołów is a partner of the educational initiative Menu for a Diabetic Patient and the special Meat and Cold Cuts in a Diabetic Diet community action.
