2016 Retail Hit for Salami Sokołów

This year saw the 15th edition of the Retail Hit contest. The award in the “Packed Deli Meats” category was won by the Salami Sokołów. The award was received by Mieczysław Walkowiak, Vice-President of the Management, Board — Sales and Marketing. The ceremony was held in Belvedere Restaurant in the Royal Baths Park in Warsaw.

The idea behind the Retail Hit contest is to select the best selling products in the various FMGC categories. The contest has been organised since 2000.

This year's edition featured 83 product categories. The Market Monitoring Centre took patronage over the event. The winners were selected by retailers who took a telephone survey and pointed out the products that were the best-sellers in their shops. The survey was conducted in April 2016 and the study covered the period of 12 months.

Salami Sokołów (100 g) – winner of the “Packed Deli Meats” category, is created from the highest quality meat with addition of a special mixture of spices ensuring its exceptional taste. Sokołów S.A. has been producing it since 1992.
