The 17th edition of the L'Art de la Cuisine Martell culinary contest

On 2 March 2019, the 17th edition of the prestigious L’Art De La Cuisine Martell culinary contest took place. 16 teams representing excellent Polish restaurants competed in the Ryn Castle for the title of best. Sokołów was the main partner of the event.

"Idyllic Chicken in the Landscape of the Polish Regional Cuisine" was the theme and the task of the 17th edition of L'art de la Cuisine Martell. In addition to culinary abilities and knowledge of regional dishes, the competitors had to also be creative and able to work under time pressure. Young adepts had 1 hour to prepare the main dish and serve it on 12 plates.

The jury was faced with a great challenge. The best cooks, inspiring dishes and unique atmosphere of the Ryn Castle intensified the emotions. The first prize went to the team from the Pink Lobster restaurant in Warsaw. The second place was taken by chefs from the Hotel Nicolaus in Toruń, and the third place went to the team representing the Szafarnia 10 restaurant in Gdańsk. The jury also awarded special prizes: The Taste Connoisseurs’ Jury Prize was awarded to the adepts from the Brasserie Warszawska restaurant and the Special Award was given to the chefs from the Restauracja Pod Nosem from Krakow. Congratulations to the winners!

L'art de la Cuisine Martell is one of the most prestigious culinary competitions in Poland, and its winners are now respected chefs and restaurateurs. As a partner of the event, Sokołów provided prizes for the participants, as well as tasty food. At the company stand the guests could eat perfectly done steaks and snacks.
