Statement regarding the fire

S T A T E M E N T

On November 8, 2023, in the evening hours, a fire occurred on the premises of Sokołów company production plant in Sokolow Podlaski. The fire alarm system functioned properly immediately notifying the relevant emergency services of the incident: the fire department, ambulance service and police. Thanks to immediate response and an efficient evacuation of the building no employees were seriously injured. Three people were given the necessary medical assistance.

The fire only affected one part of the cold cuts packaging department and was extinguished. The cause of the fire is not yet known and will be investigated by the proper authorities. The company is currently at the stage of estimating losses and relentlessly working to restore the plant operations and supply continuity.
