Sokołów wins the prestigious “2017 Reliable Employer of the Year” award
After careful analysis of the opinions about the company, its approach to employees, career paths, working conditions and development potential, the Competition Jury decided to award the Sokołów S.A. the prestigious title of “2017 Reliable Employer of the Year”.
The “Reliable Employer of the Year” is a prestigious competition aimed at selecting the best employers in Poland — especially those, who promote the most interesting HR solutions and are characterised by a master level of human resource policies, translating into high-quality products and services. The verification process covers such criteria, as: working conditions, timeliness of payments, career and promotion paths, employee development policy, or opinions of the National Labour Inspectorate, Job Agencies and local authorities.
— We are extremely happy that our actions gain recognition not just locally, but also nationwide. The title of the “Reliable Employer of the Year” is a great honour for us. It’s also another sign, that the direction in which we are heading is the right one – says Sylwia Miszczuk, Company’s HR Director.
In order to receive the title of the “Reliable Employer of the Year” it’s not enough to just meet the basic guidelines set by the applicable regulations. After the initial verification, the Competition Jury chooses one company that meets numerous other standards: investing in employee development, having the best incentive programmes and programmes aimed at employing young people, implementing a wide scope of CRS solutions, and having the highest employment growth.
— We are very happy to receive the title of the “2017 Reliable Employer of the Year”, but it also strengthens our motivation and commitment for the coming years. Our company is people. People, who every day strive to let consumers enjoy delicious taste of meat products. As an employer, we try to make our employees feel safe in the company and at their workplaces, to let them develop themselves and grow within the company, to help expand their knowledge and experience, to allow them to participate in interesting projects, and to integrate them within the company, providing sporting and health promotion initiatives. We want to take social responsibility by undertaking a number of CRS actions aimed at our employees, the local communities, stakeholders, consumers, and the environment. We realize that being a reliable employer requires incessant efforts. It takes being responsive to the job market and the changing times, which favour those able to adjust quickly and constantly.
