Sokołów S.A. at the Anuga Food Fair in Cologne, Germany

The Anuga International Food Fair in Cologne is Europe’s biggest food industry fair. Sokołów S.A. was there presenting a whole range of high quality products to its visitors. The Fair started on Saturday, 7 October and ended on Wednesday, 11 October.

The Anuga Food Fair is a high-ranking international industry event. It’s a place, where food producers meet a broad spectrum of tradesman and importers from all around the world. It showcases a product offer from many categories of food industry, as well as current trends and innovations in the food and beverage sectors.

The Anuga Food Fair is held biennially in Cologne, Germany. This year’s edition brought together over 7000 exhibitors from more than 100 countries – including Sokołów S.A., Polish meat industry leader.

The Company’s participation in the Cologne Fair was motivated by its extensive export activity. Currently, Sokołów S.A. sells its products to about 400 contractors in ca. 40 countries around the world. The company is systematically expanding its presence on the foreign markets, and the sales value generated outside of Poland continues to grow.

The Fair is an opportunity to establish new business contacts and to present the wide range of Sokołów products. The guests of the event had the opportunity to learn about the qualities of such products, as: Canned meats, cold cuts, meat snacks, and bacon.

This year’s edition of the fair has been visited by almost 160,000 guests from all over the world. A rich programme and an impressive number of exhibitors allows to safely predict that the next edition of the event will be met with equal interest.
