The Ideal Lunchbox – A culinary experience with Sokołów

Sokołów has initiated a series of workshops aimed at promoting the latest culinary trends and a healthy, balanced diet. The latest of these was devoted to the topic of the ideal lunchbox. The event not only presented the participants with dietary knowledge about this topic but allowed them to participate in the making of inspiring food combinations – cooperatively creating ideal lunchboxes.

The beautiful location of the Manor in Wola Suchożebrska was full of life as the participant, consisting of bloggers and journalists arrived. In true ‘lunchbox style’ their children were invited as well.

In the first part of the workshop, the dietician Zuzanna Antecka presented dietary knowledge about all considerations needed to create a truly good lunchbox, including contents of and size. After which the participants were divided into two groups in order to put the knowledge into practice by cooking. One group joined the Sokolow chef Dominik Moskalenko in the kitchen in order to create two inspirational dishes, suited for lunchboxes, under his competent supervision. The second group joined Zuzanna Antecka to create similarly creative dishes in the outdoor scenery of the manor. A third group, consisting of the children, enjoyed the harvesting of fresh ingredients, wild strawberries and tomatoes, in the manor’s garden, followed by playtime in the sunshine on the lawn.

The event culminated by the creation of the final lunchboxes and a dinner where all dishes were enjoyed together.

Through this event, the Sokołów group aims to create inspiration and awareness for the general public to help polish families enjoy healthy and nutritious lunches, made from high-quality ingredients, when on the go.
